You don't need to have everything worked out first. Together we can slow things down and begin to make sense of what is happening for you.
Hi, I'm Helen, offering therapy to individuals and couples from my private practice in Cardigan, Ceredigion, and online. I have been in private practice since 2022 and have completed four years of specialist psychotherapy training in Transactional Analysis. I am currently working towards qualification as a UK psychotherapist and Certified Transactional Analyst, and I am a member of UKATA, EATA and ITAA, working within their ethical frameworks.
I believe that the power of therapy lives in the relationship between therapist and client. I offer a warm, safe and non-judgemental space where you can bring all parts of yourself, take a breath, and explore what is happening for you at a deeper level.
My approach is collaborative and integrative, drawing particularly on Transactional Analysis and relational approaches. We shape your therapy together, deciding what we explore, the pace we work at and the goals we set. Rather than focusing simply on what is “wrong”, we can look at the patterns, relationships and experiences that have shaped you, while recognising your strengths and inner resilience.
Before training in psychotherapy and transactional analysis, I spent 15 years working in live events and production, following earlier roles in advertising and hospitality. Working with people from many different backgrounds has taught me to be curious, resourceful, creative and comfortable navigating complexity.
I believe therapy can help us see ourselves and our lives with fresh eyes, creating greater freedom, choice and possibility.
If you'd like to talk about whether working together feels right for you, send me a short message. You don't need to explain everything now. I aim to respond within 48 hours.
